What you get

  • IQC scorecard, co-authored with your hiring manager

    The exact criteria we will hold every Interview Qualified Candidate against. Must-have skills, nice-to-haves, comp band, stage preference, location constraints. You sign off; we operate from it.

  • Target company map

    30 or more named companies where your ideal candidate currently works. Includes functional groups within each company, candidate count estimates, and the specific engineering domains we will source from.

  • Comp benchmark

    Current cash and equity ranges for the role, by location and seniority, based on Levels.fyi, Pave, Option Impact, and our own recent placements. Tells you whether your offer is competitive before you start interviewing.

  • Search difficulty assessment

    A written assessment of how hard this search will be, what could derail it, and what we recommend changing about the role or comp before opening it. If we think you should not run the search yet, we say so plainly.

How the two weeks run

  1. Week 1, day 1

    90-minute calibration call

    Aparajita meets with you and the hiring manager. We dissect the role, the team it joins, the work it will do, and the stage of the company.

  2. Week 1, days 2 to 5

    Mapping and research

    We build the target company list, pull comp data, and draft the scorecard. Light back-and-forth with the hiring manager on edge cases.

  3. Week 2, days 6 to 9

    Draft and review

    We write the search difficulty assessment and finalise the artifacts. 60-minute review session to test our reading against your knowledge.

  4. Week 2, day 10

    Final delivery

    90-minute session to walk through everything. You leave with the signed-off scorecard, target company map, comp benchmark, and written assessment.

If you continue with us

The full $2,500 Sprint fee applies as a credit toward the per-role setup of a full Tier A engagement (see recruiting pricing). You keep all artifacts regardless.

If you don't

You keep the scorecard, the target map, the comp benchmark, and our written assessment of search difficulty. Use them to run the search yourself, or with a different firm. Either is fine.
